Green Candidates Signature Drive
9AM-2PM, Student Center Lobby
Thursday, 18 April
**********************************************
[I apologize for the partisan spam. Since we don't have tax breaks, state
jobs, or corporate welfare to dole out, we've got to talk to ordinary
citizens.]
The Massachusetts Green Party (www.masgreens.org) is working to advance a
politics of ecological wisdom, grasroots democracy, social justice, and
economic sustainability in our beloved Bay State. Candidates are running
for many state offices this year, from Governor to state rep.
For these candidates to run, they need thousands of signatures from
registered voters by MAY 7. If you support the Green Party's values, if
you don't like the current major parties' policies, or if you think that
it is better to have more rather than fewer candidates for state office,
we need your help.
Please stop by our table in the lobby of the student center from
9am-2pm today (Thursday) and sign ballot petitions to get Green candidates
on the ballot! If you're not registered to vote, or registered somewhere else,
we have voter reg. forms and can register you (regardless of whether you
sign our petitions or not :) ). You don't have to register Green or give
up voting in the Dem/Rep primaries to sign.
