So I know some of you have already gotten spammed with this, but considering the importance of this cause, I'm willing to risk repeated spams. This meeting is TONIGHT, 7pm, ROOM 4-149. Please come even if you can only stay for a few minutes since we'll have info to distribute (handouts!) and contact info sheets will be passed around.
Again, we'll be discussing what direction we want the group to take in the future as well as long and short term goals - orientation and freshman programming will be big issues, obviously, as well as a few others.

WHAT: Stop Our Silence meeting
WHEN: Thursday, 4/11, 7 pm (with Tosci's ice cream....)
WHERE: 4-149
WHY: Sexual assault happens at MIT.
We think that's a pretty good reason, really. As a student group we plan to work with the administration to develope preventative education programs, raise campus awareness, and above all, provide a supportive community to those who have been victimized by sexual violence in any way. This includes men and women who have been assaulted, friends and family of men and women who have been assaulted, men and women who have ever felt frightened or threatened...it's sort of an all-encompassing list.
So come help us decide the best way to be all of these things to the MIT community. There'll be friendly Tosci's ice cream.
