There is an article about teh conference on teh front page of the
Herald today, with teh headline "BioTech Conference Sparks Protest".
They said there were 2500 protesters. . .could not buy it, so I don'
know what they had to say, but at least tehre's some press somewhere!
What other activities are goign on this week? Everyone is beign so
damned paranoid and secretive that no-one who doesn't have an
"affiliation group" knows where to go and contribute. Isolationism is
no way to fight the powers that be, folks. . . and teh formation of
"affiliation groups" which exclude folks because they don't have
access to a university or what-have-you is exactly what gets us into
these messes in the first place(for example- a mutli-national
corporation!). . . I have talked to several other people involved in
tisi struggle as individuals who have had the same complaint. Please,
you gotta let people know whats goign on if you want participation.
..a fear of infiltrators is almost as damaging as teh infiltrators
themselves. . .
