Anyone interested in speaking out against sweatshops? Here's your chance.
Edgar, could you forward the message I forwarded you about sweatshops?
Maybe he can pull off some names from that email...

Felix

I am a professor at Salem State College in Salem, MA. and I was
referred to you by Sr. Kathleen Crowley, the Catholic chaplain at MIT.
I knew Kathleen when she was the chaplain here at Salem State. I am
writing to you because our committee on the annual human rights
convocation wants to focus on the general issue of globalization, and,
more specifically, on the issue of labor rights and sweatshops abroad.

We are looking for one or two students who have been involved in
the student based anti-sweatshop movement to be part of a panel
discussion on this issue. The date of our symposium is April 10th, a
Monday, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

Would you please contact me as soon as possible concerning your
possible interest or information about who else I might want to contact.
My office phone number is 978-542-6815. Thank you very much.
