On Monday August 7th at 1pm, a group of people from Enterprise Systems
Management will be demonstrating a product of theirs called UName*It, which
according to them is the logical outgrowth of moira (enough so that they
are apparently willing to give it to us). Apparently the people
responsible for the product have adapted the real moira to other
environments in the past, but I don't have any details, having only been
able to speak to their marketing types. We should at least get enough
information to be able to tell whether this might be a good idea for us and
how long it would take for us to begin to adapt it to our environment.
