   Sure.  I think dbck should probably check for these obsolete cnames,
   since I don't see any point to keeping a cname without a hostname.
   (That's very much like an imembers entry (a list membership) without
   the accompanying list -- something which dbck does clean up
   automatically, if I'm not mistaken.)

   I've deleted the cname AGGIE from Moira.

It's a bug in the Moira server that I'm pretty sure Tom knows about.  If
there's a CNAME for a machine, you must delete it before you delete the
machine, or you're left with a dangling reference.  The Moira server
should really either (a) automatically nuke the cname, or (b) prohibit
the deletion until the user deletes the cname.

Of course, dbck should really do the right thing and nuke the obselete
cnames too.
