It is generally agreed that the operation of the Moira server should
not be done by DCNS Dev. I find myself needing to read bug-moira and
moiradev (both mailing lists for software development and maintenance)
to keep track of the current state of moira.mit.edu. This is wrong.
While I like to read moiradev and bug-moira at my leisure anyway,
combining development and operations to such an extent is
inappropriate and downright inconvenient. As a result, I've created
the mailing list moira-admin, initially containing list op. Feel free
to add anyone who is involved in the maintenance of moira.mit.edu.
When the list moira-admin has its membership settled (in a few days)
I'd like operational mail like "the moira server died" to go to
moira-admin, rather than moiradev or bug-moira.
