Hi! If this is not the most appropriate place for this report, I
apologize, and ask that you please forward it to the most appropriate
person(s).
Last friday, I renamed the filsys "roscoe" to be "queen". At that
same time, I deactivated the "roscoe" entry (which was an active
account) and created an athena account under the name of queen (which
was previously Enrolled/Not registerable).
The user called because originally she was having problems telnetting
to her account, but once she got access on athena, she was not able to
read any mail. I come to find out that she is no where on the acl for
her home directory. But what was kind of strange is that the GID
15196, which belongs to the user "lucifer" was on the top level of the
directory and several other directories.
I have now removed all of the access assocaited with the GID 15196,
and have added queen to the acl.
Do you know where the error may lie in terms of hte user not getting
on the acl after the filsys was renamed? If you have any other
questions or I've omitted information, just let me know.
Thanks!
Pam
