The bug in the moira client where getting an error while changing a
printer results in the printer being deleted has been fixed in our
development sources, and will be in the next public release. We've
also fixed many NULL dereferencing problems in porting this stuff to
the DECstation.
I haven't tried to put this out in a patch file because our sources
are already quite different on their way to Moira 3.0. Since you hae
an Athena account, you might want to take a look at
/mit/moiradev/src/client/moira/* which is stable, although many other
things in the Moira source tree are not.
