Deeply unconvinced. gaus can return more than just lists, and if you
happen to both be the owner of a filesystem and a member of the group
owner of the filesystem, you can get duplicate results there as well,
and appear to have been able to since approximately the dawn of time.
Likewise for zephyr classes, which have 4 associated lists.

Granted, those are both much rarer cases, but they also existed before
memacls came along; I don't think there's any particular indication that
duplicate entries from gaus code was something that the original
implementor tried hard to avoid, and I don't think they're particularly
dangerous in practice. So, "won't fix".
