Begging for help with getting DCM to work

I'm not sure where the "Unable to read from program" error is coming
from. However, startdcm is setting the working directory of the
program to "/", so the corefile is probably in /core.
Are you sure that the update_server you are running was compiled
against the same gdb code as the DCM? There are two different
versions of gdb which have escaped MIT, and they will not
interoperate.
