From the manual: "The 'set autocommit on' command causes an implicit
commit to occur after every successfully executed SQL query.  The
default is 'set autocommit off', which means that an explicit command
is required to commit a transaction."

I assume that means that each of the many quel queries that make up a
moira query would be independantly commited transactions at the DBMS
level.  This is wrong, as it makes it impossible for moira to abort a
transaction in progress.

I haven't actually tried any of this with Ingres 6.2 to know what will
happen.  I'm still trying to get a machine set up that I can run it
on.
