Hi. So, yes, we're aware of this behavior. There are actually places
in Moira where it's used. (For instance, if you want a Hesiod pointer
an NFS filesystem or printer not at MIT, you need to have the host in
Moira.) Non-MIT.EDU hosts aren't output into the host table, so at
most, all this really allows you (as a machine owner) to do is make
your hostname stop resolving. Thanks for the bug report anyway.
