Moira switchover - Monday the 13th

The moira2 -> moira3 switchover is scheduled for next Monday morning
(the 13th). Dave and I will be dealing with it. Testing has gone fine,
so we don't expect any problems. (If there are, we can back out the
same way we're switching over.)
The new server is moira3.mit.edu (aka moira3thesearchforspock
following in the tradition of moira2thewrathofkhan). After the
switchover it will acquire the cnames moira and sms. Its .klogin file
is the same as moira2's. Feel free to log in and wander around:
the file /moira/README.new comments on some of the changes between the
old and new servers.
Somewhere along the line, it was agreed that the test server would not
be renamed. So it will stay as `this-too-shall-pass' (aka ttsp). Since
sos's .klogin had some cruft in it, ttsp's was copied from moira's.
People who want to be added to it should send mail to ops.
The details of the switchover are:
Sunday:
Set up moira2 to shut down Sunday night with motd. (including reg_svr)
Put same motd on moira3.
Move `moira' and `sms' hostaliases from moira2 to moira3
Move `moira' and `registration' serverhosts from moira2 to moira3
DCMs and backups happen normally.
Monday:
mrrestore on moira3
set up crontab on moira3 (to get sms tickets and such)
Move ca, hosts, letter, network, pobox serverhosts from moira2 to moira3
put `not the server you are looking for' motd on moira2, and /etc/nodcm
remove motd from moira3, open database and reg_svr
I'm sending mail to athena-outage about it.
