Good morning,

We'd like to remind everyone of the project leaders meeting next
Friday, March 19, 10:30 - 12:00 in N42-286. At this meeting we would
like to engage your input for assignments the Directors have regarding
the IS 5YP.

The initial phase of the five year plan was completed in December. In
January and February, ITLT continued discussions to refine and add
additional context and depth to the plan. The plan today is available
via:

http://web.mit.edu/sextant/www/index.html

Please note the ITLT Feb. 11, 1999 section at the beginning and the
affinities worksheet dated Feb. 10, 1999. Each ITLT
member was assigned a specific strategy affinity, and we were provided
additional templates to further define that strategy work and the
associated initiatives for each strategy. The particular assignments
for Susan, Bob, and myself are given below. ITLT is expected to
complete a draft for each strategy and initiative by April 1, 1999.

This coming Friday, we would like to work through a few of these
strategies with you in order to gain your input into this next phase of
the plan.

For Friday, please take a few moments to review the strategies and the
associated initiatives available via sextant.

Thank you in advance for your participation and input. This effort
constitutes the next critical milestone for the IS 5YP effort.

Susan, Greg, and Bob.
