Accomplishments in May
* scheduled Q&A sessions with phone vendors;
* reviewing RFP repsonses
* began formulating outline of recommendations for Phase I
Goals for June
* meet for Q&A sessions with vendors
* Negotiate T's and C's
* complete recommendations for Phase I
Issues
* It is difficult to negotiate a favorable price with any vendors
without being able to commit volume (units or minutes)
* Stressors: Project Leaders have other fast track high profile
projects with the same target due date (end June 2003), the impending
fiscal year end and the tasks that surround it, and one Project Leader is
in the midst of moving to a new office.
