Accomplishments past period:
- Functional checklist sub-groups (cataloging, financial, public-services,
systems, etc.) have begun to meet for brainstorming sessions
and are writing up their findings.
- Market Survey Team members are looking at initial list of vendors
and putting together a functional overview of each system.
- Communication Team have substantially updated the website.
Goals for the coming period:
- Continue work with Functionality and Market Survey Teams.
- Meeting with Scott Thorne re. data model still not finalized. Have spoken
with Scott informally and he is expecting us to contact him.
Key Learnings:
- Reports are the groups have worked well together and have made substantial
progress. There was some concern about how detailed the functional reports
should be, but we seem to be resolving these issues (avoiding overkill).
