Project Name: Enterprise Printing
Project Leader: Dave Lambert
Report Date: 03/10/1999
Project Notebook: http://web.mit.edu/is/discovery/enter-print/

Accomplishments for the past period:
- held joint meeting with advisory group; major topics included:
   o project accountabilities
o update on data gathering efforts
o clarification of project timeline & additional resource requirements
- held project check-in meeting with Greg & JDB
- met with project sponsor for check-in
- met with two targeted staff for the technical design work
- held several additional 1-on-1 interviews for data gathering
- began documenting interview results (will continue for several weeks)
- drafted deliverables/charter statement for technical design efforts
- began documenting reference materials - both project and content related

Goals for the coming period:
- clarify staffing issues for technical design & business modeling work
- continue fine-tuning Focus Group plans
- hold more 1-on-1 interviews and document same
- finalize technical design deliverables & charter
- develop draft deliverables and charter for business modeling effort
- finalize Focus Group plans (carry over)
- begin Focus Group meetings (carry over; if calendars permit)

Issues:
- We need to resolve next steps considering the limited resources
available for the technical design work. Meeting to be held on
3/12 with the team, Greg & Theresa to resolve this.

Key learnings:
There aren't a lot of good past models for dealing with the "business
side" of delivery. We care what happens *after* the discovery phase!

Team dynamics:
Tim makes us all think really hard. Lynne asks great questions. Mary
Ellen helps make sense of it all and puts it in English. I'm just taggin'
along for the fun of it... :-) We're doing just fine.

Additional comments:
Nah, I already said too much.
