Hello everyone,
This is a reminder that our regular Magellan meeting will be on
Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001 at 1:00 in N42-203. Please send your
bi-weekly status reports to magellan@mit.edu before the meeting.
Our agenda will include a review of some recent work within the
Discovery Team on improving project focus. We will include some
examples of where problems have occurred in appropriate scoping,
sponsorship, team resourcing, and transition to Delivery and how we
might prevent them in the future. We welcome your contributions to
this discussion.
We will also discuss a proposal for changing the frequency of the
Magellan meetings to once a month. We would like the groups' input
on making Magellan more effective as we move forward.
Finally, this is an early reminder for the September 13, 200 meeting.
Our agenda will include the EC3 module on Dealing with difficult
people: Resistant behavior. While this fulfills one of our team
goals for the communication competency initiative, it may also
fulfill one of your individual requirements.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
Thanks,
--
