Accomplishments of the past period:
- Understood short-term OSP requirements more clearly
- Established contact with vendor providing OSP training content
- Worked closely with Mike Barker to understand capabilities of CourseWorks
and Stellar-June
- Reviewed other EHS activity with T. Regan, J. Hallisey, G. Anderson, R.
Smyser, S. Lisanti
- Reviewed ElementK and IS training database with J. Cavanaugh and J.
Fothergill
- Met with Joanne Hallisey for Discovery continuity
- Filled out more of the project notebook, including charter
Goals for the coming period:
- Schedule meeting with co-sponsors: Julie Norris & Jamie Lewis-Keith to
discuss vision, workplan, and schedule
- Draft announcement for Joanne Hallisey to send to InfoSys & sponsors
- Determine team membership, including technical and financial consultants
- Establish contact with HR-Payroll
- Work on matrix of short-term options for OSP
Issues:
- very short time frame for OSP training to be online
- if recommendation and sponsor desire is to host training content at MIT
with 3rd-party software, who would host the web server / application?
Key learnings:
- Stellar-June & Courseworks will not have the training functionality OSP
requires by the end of summer, so a short-term solution must be found,
likely in a 3rd party package

Additional comments:
- project was "a coordination project" for a while, and it became larger
and more visible rather quickly; team will shortly start having formal,
weekly meetings
