Accomplishments of the past period:
* Reviewed recommendations with AACII.
* Presented final report to the sponsors.
Goals for next period:
* Meet with the sponsors to dicuss final report and next steps.
Issue:
The members of AACII, while supporting the recommended guidelines, wanted
the implementation of the guidelines for merchants to include an indication
of what the threshhold is whereby it becomes necessary to register a
business. In particular, if students are selling t-shirts and not
collecting credit cards, is there a dollar amount at which they need to
register the business? We left this as an issue for the CAO to decide in
its implementation of the registration process and guidelines.
