Accomplishments of the past period:
Created Discovery Project web notebook.
The current team met for the first time on December 22, 2000. We
were in general agreement that this project is on a tight schedule and we
would like to wrap up the project with a set of recommendations by
4/1/2001. We also need to complete the team staffing. The agreement was
that we would limit the scope of the project to the issue of how MIT will
provide commercial cable service, primarily to campus residents.
Goals for next period:
A project sponsor from Student Life and a FBC will be recruited
for the team by January 15. The entire team will meet once the remaining
members are recruited.
