Accomplishments of the past period:
* Met with Kathryn Willmore to plan for next week's meeting with ASPCC.
* Continued calls to peer institutions to identify best practices.
* Lorraine and Joanne met with Mark Damian to discuss needs of internal
providers vs. needs of merchants.
* Lorraine presented more information regarding internal providers
vs.
merchants to the rest of the team.
* Made plans for focus group meetings.
Goals for next period:
* Meet with ASPCC to identify issues, concerns.
* Make presentation at *mg; conduct focus group to identify issues.
* Complete calls to peer institutions.
* Conduct a focus group with MIT merchants.
* Meet with individual stakeholders such as Diana Strange, Alumni Office.
Issues:
* In our calls to other institutions we have found that only Stanford
and
Berkeley have made substantial headway in this area. These issues
are
arising at other institutions but they have ot sarted any formal
attempt
to formulate policies and/or guidelines. so once again MIT will be
at
the forefront. Other institutions are very interested in what we come
up with.
* We need to find a form to get feedback from faculty during the
process
of formulating the guidelines.
