Accomplishments past period:
- Cleaned up the e-thesis submission Web site a bit
<http://web/etheses/www/>, adding some necessary information about another
conversion option and reorganizing the index.
- Contacted each student in the February degree pipeline and urged them to
submit an e-thesis.
- Began taking steps toward the construction of a Web-based database for
thesis "holds" by describing needs.
Goals for the coming period:
- Identify software for the "holds" database and proceed as soon as
possible to acquire and build it.
- Meet with staff from library cataloging section to discuss a couple of
outstanding e-thesis procedural issues.
- Step up level of contact with individual students to encourage and help
them through the submission process.
