Accomplishments past period:
-  Continued risk analysis effort
-  Team members met with SAP at Palo Alto, CA.; focus on Payroll
-  Team members attended ASUG HR meeting in Denver, CO
-  Began preparations for Nov. 10 ASPCC meeting
-  Met with Sponsors for update
-  Met with Janet Snover and Jim Bruce
-  Developed analysis and summary of TAP  (The Appointment Process) project
-  Began to identify project dependencies and calendar issues; i.e. how
HR-Payroll fits with SAP 4.6b.
-  Established contact with Baylor Medical another SAP user

Goals for the coming period:
-  Meet with ASPCC
-  Complete risk analysis work
-  Continue work to understand calendar and dependencies
-  Determine the next steps for the project

Issues:
- Building agreements across central and departmental units
- Need to insure broad participation and buy-in to the work from the
various customer groups across campus
- Be clear about decision for SAP and work with community to provide
support and assurances.
- Refining timeline will become increasingly important; how is the timing
for HR-Payroll impacted by other activities; i.e. SAP updgrades.
- When is Discovery portion of the work at an end.

Key learnings
- There is a lot of intensity & sensitivity around this project
- Managing the change issues and the perspectives of central and
decentralized stakeholders will be critical to success.

Team dynamics:
- Need to focus more on getting everyone on the same page
