Accomplishments past period:
-  Continued review of business functions within HR-Payroll
-  Continued to understand business requirements
-  Met with Doreen Morris and Asst. Deans
-  Met with AAC
-  Began work on system schematics to understand current environment
-  Began data modelling and process flow
-  Refined work structures & assignments
-  Continued conversations with Duke
-  Established contact with SAP expert
-  Scheduled meeting with John Curry, Exec. VP
-  Scheduled meeting with Laura Avakian, VP-HR
-  Began risk analysis

Goals for the coming period
-  Meet with John Curry and Laura Avakian
-  Involve the AO community
-  Hold demos for Payroll and Personnel
-  Schedule SAP demos
-  Continue conversations with Duke and others
-  Define, refine, and chart requirements and objectives

Issues:
- Increasing intensity for the work
- Need to insure fit between MIT strategic goals and the work of the team
- Need to insure broad participation and buy-in to the work from the
various customer groups across campus

Key learnings
- Good team, complex topic, there's a lot to learn
- The discussions are rich and critical to moving the work forward.
- The Sponsors efforts on behalf of the project are critically important.

Team dynamics:
- Solid, focused team, great knowledge base for the work.
- Shifting from listening and learning to active use of the information and
beginning analysis.
