Project Name: Pismere Business Models
Project Leaders: Naomi Schmidt, Marine Brown, Lorraine Rappaport
Report Date July 15, 1999
Submitted by: Greg Anderson

Accomplishments past period
- Met with the team, joined by Joanne Hallisey and Tom Thornton
- Reviewed the model to date, identified issues/unknowns
- Discussed software licensing models/scenarios for MS products
- Agreed on next steps to bring Discovery portion of project to conclusion

Goals for the coming period
- Work with the team to complete exploration of different scenarios for the
business model and testing it with variables.
- Write descriptive cover to the model
- Work toward a presentation/communication path to the Pismere Strategy Group.

Issues:
- At present, the model has been developed as far it can be extended
without real data. Pending further tests, we will need to wait on other
decisions for Pismere in order to utilize it in a real setting.
- We need to begin to involve customers in validating the model and getting
feedback.
- Using its scenarios, the model will be helpful as a decision-making tool
for Pismere strategy discussions.
- The model may be a useful catalyst to encourage a review of the current
Athena business model.

Key learnings
- There are many facets to this model, some of which are new to our
environment (domain controllers, for example). The labor costs, as usual,
are the key.
- The discussions are rich and critical to moving the work forward.

Team dynamics:
- Very good - solid, focused team, and a very good product.

Additional comments:
- None
