Accomplishments Past Period:
- Revised Request for Solution, wrote cover letters, and mailed RFS
documents off to 5 vendors. The 6th vendor, our current library system
vendor, Geac,
was also notified they are in the running (we have the option to stay
with them if nothing else seems more compelling).
- Tentatively scheduled time in July for an All-Staff meeting to provide an
update on the progress made so far.
- PDF version of RFS now up on the web
Goals for the Coming Period:
- Update charts in Market Survey
- Schedule site visit to Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole
Institute (MBL-WHOI), to look at Endeavor Voyager implementation.
- Begin making calls to a few customer sites to ask about their
experiences with particular systems.
