The Administrative Advisory Committee (AAC) invites members of the MIT
community to join us at our annual "State of the Institute" forum.

LEADERSHIP IN A CHANGING WORLD

Thursday May 20, 1999 1:00pm -3:00pm
in Little Kresge Auditorium, Building W16

Dr. Charles M.Vest, President
Professor Lawrence S. Bacow, Chancellor
Professor Robert A. Brown, Provost
Mr. John R. Curry, Executive Vice President

How will MIT's new administration help to position the Institute to move
forward in a globally interconnected age?

How can the administrative community support Dr Vest's defining goals of
commitment to excellence, and dedication to scholarship and fundamental
scientific inquiry?

Please join us to hear reflections of our senior officers on these and
other topics. We encourage members of the administrative community to bring
other staff from their departments to this session.

Please respond to Paulette Mosley, pmosley@mit.edu, Room E40-107, Fax 8-9214
by Friday, May 14, 1999.

Thank you.
Robin Elices
Chair, AAC
