Hi all,
Such good stuff, I just had to add my thoughts to this growing "sponsor
profile."
I'd like to come from another point of view, the sponsor's point of view,
and ask: Why do I want to be a sponsor on this project?
I think the answer is "the cause." I, the sponsor, want something done, I
need a change in the existing process, or a new system to make my life
easier. I've tried other ways before but now I think the Discovery process
will make my plea more legitimate and much stronger.
The cause and desire have to be there.
As the Discovery process evolves and we learn from it, perhaps one of our
lessons is to think about the very first steps, about finding a sponsor who
could not live another day without having the new Discovery project go
forward.
