You may want to check /var/adm/messages (or wherever you have syslogs going).
There may be additional information there.
I suspect that you forgot to include the various command line arguments
necessary for klogind. To have it accept both V4 and V5 connections,
you have to have "-k"... Read the man page for klogind.
