Are there any drafted documents on what needs to be done to make this
change? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
No documents yet, people are just beginning to think about it. The
solution to this problem is to stop encoding the 32 bit (4 byte)
number 0x12345678 as the string "0x12345678 ", which is a 4 to 11
expansion. (Yes, this really is the current encoding, I'm not
kidding.)
