Preface:
To say there was a high level of engagement would be an understatement. The
downside is everyone was engaged at the same time. I did my best to capture
the salient points but I may have missed something significant. Feel free
to send me any omitted details and I will add them and send out a revised
copy of the minutes....Brian
Attending:
Brian Murphy, Jonathon Weiss, Richard Edelson, Jonathan Hunt, Chad, Oliver,

Should we have a separate web page for All windows documentation?
JmHunt suggested that a windows.mit.edu page be created on the IS Web page
and then link to Pismere, windows delivery etc.
Still need list of services from DITR Windows Delivery, Chad, others?
Some effort was started to create a cont. admin roles doc but no known product.
Kerem will Populate tree
Training and Pubs will be asked to take over managing the Documentation Tree.
Kerem will send a pointer for existing documentation
There is some documentation but much more is needed and we need to define
the process to manage.
Pismere pages are now updated.
Container Admin. Request tracking Tool. -
Request form which allows for Experienced Admins to have request go
directly to Ops and CC Kakapo and inexperienced Admins to send mail to
Kakapo to initiate process to ensure they understand what is required.
Some documentation is located at web/windows/server
Oliver will write up a blurb on how this request form will function.
Biology Request - Chad will install machines based on a Pilot/Experiment
approach and measure impact (Other Student Groups)
JMHunet raised an issue that I did not fully capture. If this still needs
to be addressed could, we will need to discuss it at the next meeting:
IS members ability to create container but cannot get account to do so.
