---------------------------------------------------
Anyone using a Windows computers at MIT should upgrade to Kerberos for
Windows 2.5 for the improved user interface and functionality. It is
especially useful for machines that are off campus and connecting through
home networks, see NAT box under Notable Features.

If you are supported by a local IT professional, check with them before
installing KfW 2.5.

Notable Features

- new and improved graphical user interface
- functions behind Network Address Translation (NAT) boxes
- self repairing installation (MSI)
- includes functionality for obtaining tokens for OpenAFS (unsupported)

The icon images for KfW shortcuts that were not created by previous KfW
installers may not get updated to the new look. If you recreate the
shortcut the new icons will be used for the shortcut.
