Kris,

Finally, after two weeks, a response to your questions. WIN
developers, especially Joe, there are some embedded request for you,
too.

Responses in-line:

The directory request_forms is obsolete, EXCEPT for the
"is/topics/windows/server/request_forms/independentDNS directory and
form last edited by Tim. I do not see any reference to this form
anywhere down from is/topics/windows/server, but Tim (or Oliver) may
point to it from elsewhere.

If both Tim and Oliver buy off on having no other links, then we can
move independentDNS to the server/cr directory and delete independentDNS.
If they have any links to the old place, we still will move it and
leave a symbolic link in request_forms.

Well, the text implies you need to decide on a non-standard, i.e.,
independent, domain if you need to run unsupported OSs. So, to use
the "Supported" page better, change the text (at the same time
removing the "Active Directory" redundancy) thusly:

< Need to run a _supported Windows operating system_ within the
< Windows Active Directory domain for compatibility purposes.

  > Need to run a Windows operating system other than a _supported one_

I am open to content *and* formatting changes, but the originator of
this, Joe Calzaretta, may have other wishes. Note that the
underlining has a specific meaning, distinct from simple emphasis
phrases that appear elsewhere. So, use maybe a different style for
our divergence from the MCSE document, but different from simple
italics.

Joe, unless you let Robin know that her editing is unwelcome, say by
Wednesday afternoon, I recommend that Robin should try the changes.

Here I believe Joe would recommend moving *some* of this material to
an area for a domain admin audience.

Right Joe? If so, I should get details from Joe and make a second
pass through the file before Kris makes a third.

Not easily, but possible. Can I ask the team for a volunteer?

These are files I placed in this directory named to hold material "For
Container Admins." The only reference to it is in winmitedu/RIS.html.

Oliver should have some opinion as to whether the entire set of four
training videos should be published to our Container Admin audience in
general. Although the videos are somewhat inaccurate, I am in favor
of publishing them. Other opinions?

Aw, it is a whitepaper. No need to alter it in my opinion.
