Howdy,
The move of the IS-served FileMaker databases (and related web
service) was completed successfully this afternoon in exactly one
hour. By 3pm, all services were back and fully operational.
My great thanks to the heavy lifters in N42 (Jeanne Cavanaugh, Rob
Smyser, Peggy Conant, Marilyn Mercer), to the folks who helped with
the setup in W91 (Mike Mullett, John Fothergill, etc.), to the
hostname-helpful Network Gods (Chris Murphy and maybe others), to
various and sundry others (e.g., Alicia Allen, who gave some useful
tips earlier in the week), and to all the users whose patience and
understanding made the whole move an easy and enjoyable affair.
Now I can tell Greg Anderson that the servers are in W91...

P.S., if you want to give any feedback on the move, or on the system
as they currently operate, feel free to send me a note.
