/afs/transarc.ibm.com these days, and afs-contrib exists under
public/anon-ftp/pub... and yes, it needs a principal.

I used to have a principal in transarc.com when support still worked
directly, but, like I said, I didn't have the foresight to mirror the
entire customer-accessible portion of /afs/transarc.com then. Bummer.

(Contrary to what Esther said, though I have the highest regard for
her opinion,) Transarc support confirmed that a supported client used
to exist in AFS 3.3, but that they won't make it available any more.

Well, it's PuTTY time on the PC for the NeXTStation owner.  At least
SSH works on it so he can use scp.  Thanks for everyone who contributed.
