Hello All AFSers...

My query to the list was:

> Hello AFS'ers...

> How is AFS working under SunOS 4.1.2??? Any problems out there?
>
> Also... Anybody got a working DFS up and running and willing to share
> some performance numbers?

I got one response (attachment) indicating it worked and none
indicating it didn't. I plan to install the latest production version
(3.1b??) on SunOS 4.1.2.

Hi Steve,
We have AFS working here under SunOS 4.1.2. If you system is
not an MP system ie, a Sun4/6xx, it should work fine with
Transarcs sun4c_411 binaries. If, however, you're using one
of the new 600 MP processors you'll have to get the modifications
they made here for us. They are still deciding if they're going
to support the MP platform. I recomend all pressure on them to
do so. The world is going to multi-processors, they should, too.
Any questions, let me know.
