Here we go again.
1) The cell cs.chalmers.se is (*gone*) and won't come back.
2) The machine birk.cs.chalmers.se is no longer an AFS server machine.
It's still running and receives udp packets on the AFS ports about
once per second.
This amounts to about 86400 packets in, and 86400 ICMP-port
unreachable's per day.
Thus we(you) are loading the NSFnet-Nordunet atlantic link with
some 4 Megabytes per day
unnecessary traffic.
Please do the CellServDB update NOW, (don't forget to reboot the clients
now and then).
(The CellservDB at /afs/transarc.com/service/etc/CellServDB.export is
correct (at least concerning out cell), Use the info there and don't
forget to remove the cs.chalmers.se cell.
(Btw, transarc : We just got a call to birk.cs.chalmers.se from
ernie.transarc.com ehm ...)
Thanks
Chris.
