Reading the correspondance about multi-user workstations, it seems that
our time sharing
machine (sized for > 100 users) would do well to have most files on local disks.
However, we also have a number of machines which will act as AFS/NFS
translators. How do
the concurrency problems affect this area ? If, say, a client exports /afs to 20 NFS
machines, should I expect trouble at busy times ? If so, then presumably I should
maintain local copies of files on the translator machines, and export these.
