With Christmas approaching, I am putting the following letter up the
chimney. I am also
hedging my bets by circulating to this list:
WANTED:
1) A version of ext_svrtab that works with Transarc kaserver.
2) A scheme whereby I can use kinit to authenticate with either
Transarc OR MIT kerbs (ie gets
the initial ticket then tries various string_to_key algorithms on
the password until
it decodes the ticket or runs out of ideas)
3) Versions of rlogin, rsh etc which combine the MIT function (secure,
passwordless remote
operation) with the Transarc function (user-invisible percolation of afs token)
