Hello all...(summary of answers)

Toward the end of October I posted a note on Info-AFS requesting info
about AFS or DCE products for the IBM PC or Apple Mac.  This is the
only email answer I got:

Since October I've attended the AFS user conference (early November);
it sounds like the Mich.Edu people are trying to integrate IBM and
AppleMac computers into their AFS network.  I'm not aware of any other
efforts.
