Folks...
The set of AFS-3 programmer's specification documents have now been
released, and are publicly available in the GCO cell. For those who
forgot, you may access the .dvi and PostScript files for these papers in
the following directories:
/afs/grand.central.org/darpa/doc/afs/specs/progint/
archov - Architectural Overview
bsrv - BOS Server
fscm - File Server/Cache Manager
psrv - Protection Server
rx - Rx, LWP
vvl - Volume/Volume Location Server
As usual, please send me comments, questions, suggestions, et cetera.
For those of you who like pretty, shrink-wrapped and
professionally-printed versions of documents, the set will be also
available in this cool hard-copy format. Please see the post by Dawn
Hinton dated 26 August for the gory details.
Please note that *one more* document in the series will be produced.

Authentication Server Interface
Its release date has not yet currently been determined, but I'll post
updates about it here as we have them.
