suggestion: adjust system clocks with adjtime(2)

This is a minor point, but with afs-3.1a, I get "vmunix: afs: setting
clock ahead 2 seconds ..."

The suggestion, if this is not already being done by now, is to use
adjtime() to speed up or slow down the system clock, so that the time
is always a monotonically increasing function.

adjtime() would be used instead of using settimeofday(), if that is
what is being done now.

Each way has its own good and bad points, but I just thought I'd bring
it up, that's all.

Bye,

Brian
