In reference to Solaris on sparcs, I think that I need to respond.
I've been using AFS now for about 2 months with my file server running
Solaris 2.2. Although we have had a great deal of problems, I wouldn't
suggest that anyone not do this for a new site. My file server seems to
be pretty stable and the OS, after applying a patch, hasn't really crashed
in months. Today, we are about to begin our adventure with AFS on Solaris
2.3.
