Hi,
I recently received AFS 3.1 for our Risc Ultrix 4.1 systems. I have
not installed it yet, however, since I just received an Ultrix update
to version 4.2, and I wanted to find out if it would run on 4.2. Does
AFS 3.1 work with Ultrix 4.2 and has anyone try it yet?
What about the AFS 3.1 under Risc Ultrix 4.1? Have you found any major
problems in installation or maintenance?
If I have to bring up AFS on Ultrix 4.1, I will use the Dynamic Kernel
Loader. In seems that if there will be problems, it is easier to bring
the system up without AFS built in. Does this seem like a reasonable
strategy?
