Accomplishments in December

* Continued the Design phase work for the Parking application and the 
new parking management tool.
* Met with the Usability representative to discuss the new 
application and the new tool.
* Added a new member from the academic group to the team.
* Prepared a paper process for people who don't have computers, might 
have difficulty with the language, and work second and third shifts
* Met with a member from WCS to discuss hiring a Web designer.


Goals for January

* Present a demo of the new Web-based tools to the sponsor, John McDonald.
* Present a demo to the parking coordinators so they can see a "first 
draft" of their new tools.
* Start working on the rollout and support tasks.
* Prepare an RFP for a Web designer.


Next Community Milestone

Rollout to the community is expected to be in July 2003.   Usability 
activities, testing, and Parking Coordinators focus groups will be 
involved before then.

* Demo to the sponsor: January 15
* Demo to the parking coordinators: January 29


Learnings

This is a great working team and everyone is learning the rules and 
exceptions of MIT parking.
