Project Name: Online Credit Card Processing - ClearCommerce
Submitted By: Lorraine Rappaport
Report Date: December 6, 2002
Project URL: http://web.mit.edu/is/delivery/ccard
Accomplishments Past Period:
- Two merchants went live: Tech Review for their back-end order entry form
and Tau Beta Pi for their career fair registration site
- Released new version of OMARS. This version completes the API work,
supports external forms, makes a few minor improvements for merchants, and
fixes a few minor bugs.
- Configured stores for the European Club and the Registrar's Office
- Created a payment form for LFM-SDM to use with their existing
ClearCommerce store. They will use this form for collecting fees, SDM
tuitions, and other payments. The form is ready for production and has
been passed along to LFM for placement on their web pages.
- Released new "configurator," a streamlined mechanism for organizing and
displaying store configuration information. It's way cool.
- Met with Alumni to discuss their new Smart Trans Alumni clubs system and
its tie-in with ClearCommerce
- Got approval to take advantage of ClearCommerce's new store licensing
policy, which will save the Institute money. Began working with Paul
Heffernan on the contract addendum.
Goals for Next Period:
- European Club career fair registration site will most likely go live.
- Work with Brain & Cognitive Sciences to plan and implement their
conference registration site.
- Finalize contract addendum with ClearCommerce for new store licensing
agreement.
Next Community Milestone:
- Roll-out of the new merchants mentioned above
Other Comments:
- Larry and I are members of the LSA Discovery project team that is
investigating solutions for conference registrations.
