Accomplishments in November 2002:
Discovered a problem in SM006...number privacy feature was not
functioning. Contacted Lucent and worked to resolve the issue (feature now
works);
Completed the reconstruction of the NW12 switchroom;
Continued planning the E19 reconstruction (now in concert with construction
around E19 5th floor HVAC work, where ducts will be run through floor 6 and
7 to the E19 roof)
Continued negotiations around final payments for Lucent Integration travel
and living expenses, and transportation costs;
Next Month's plan:
Finailize the redesign and construction plans for the E19's switchroom,
(e.g. this includes the surrounding offices and equipment that had been
moved prior to the start of this project. This will include the addition
of 4 new staff members and possibly 4 new contracted members). This
redesign process will occur in conjunction with Christine Cavanna (I/S
Space Planning) and encompass all TNS staff in E19, as well as the HVAC
work being performed on floor 5 that will go through our space on floor 6.
Begin the planning process for the training for the Operations team and
technician. (e.g. 5E architecture, maintenance, translations, DDM 2000 and
other newly installed equipment).
Issues:
None.
