Accomplishments during September 2002:
- Usability test of the ArcView interface
- Continue work on ArcGIS interface
- Team and stakeholders lunch meeting.
- Continue work on ArcView SDE Interface.
- Continue loading data
- Continue creating MARC records
- Load XML records onto SDE server
- Continue work on ArcGis interface.
- Started discussions of storage expansion, backup, recovery,
authentication and authorization issues
Goals for October.
- Work on usability test results of ~20 enhancements and bug fixes request
for the extension.
- Release of MIT customized Extension for ArcView
- Create help menu and documentations for the ArcView interface.
- GIS brochure
- Continue work on ArcGIS interface
- Looking into packaging ArcView and ArcGIS in MSI installers
- Continue work on long term and scalable solution for backup, recovery,
authentication and authorization.

Next Community Milestone:
Announce service with data loaded and backup with an Athena interface and
goals for a web interface.
